STEP 1 - Are you in Business

First you need to determine are you in Business?  
  • "A taxable activity is an activity carried out continuously or regularly by a business, trade, manufacturer, professional, association or club. “

If you answered yes to above, then to start a new business, you can either trade as 

      • sole trader (in your own name, simplest)
      • form a partnership or

      • form a company
